Nintendo appears to be sending emails to My Nintendo members and inviting them to a Nintendo Switch event. For those who don't know My Nintendo is Nintendo's newest rewards program which replaced Club Nintendo earlier this year. Don't forget to check your emails!

I'm pretty sure this is only for people near NYC, don't quote me on it tho.

I'm in Boston I haven't got one yet and NYC is about a hour out so I think they just send you to your nearest event. Don't quote me either though :P

I quote when I want to. :D

There was a whole other thread on this where some people thought it was a phishing attempt. My thinking is that it would have your My Nintendo name on it rather than "My Nintendo member". Eventbrite doesn't look like something Nintendo would really use. Since they say tickets are first come first serve, they seem to be shoving a "buy tickets now ask questions later" style message down our throats. I don't trust this.

Oh I didn't even know that was a concern. Hmmm that's interesting. I can agree with your ticket point. You'd think Nintendo would have you buy them from their site.

So.... what? No article, or information on how Nintendo chooses these people, if this is official, just a screenshot of a email I presume. What even is this lmao

That's how I got the news too lmao. Just a picture of the email. Figured no one posted it and I wanted dibs.

Edit: More specifically this Reddit thread where other people have claimed to got the email as well

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
