Eurogamer claims Pokémon Stars is coming to the Switch

A new version of Pokémon Sun and Moon will launch for Nintendo Switch.

Multiple sources tell Eurogamer the game is already well into development, will launch in 2017, and currently holds the codename of Pokémon Stars.

Earlier generations of Pokémon games have featured a third title launched later with expanded features - Pokémon Yellow followed Game Boy originals Red and Blue to start this trend, which continued through until Pokémon Platinum followed Sapphire and Emerald on DS.

With Pokémon Stars, this idea will be revived - but for the first time we'll see the mainline Pokémon series spanning separate Nintendo consoles within the same generation of games.

Indeed, Switch will be the first Nintendo "home" console to receive a main Pokémon adventure. It only took 20 years.

i am already broke, i will have to skip switch...
i had been collecting pokemon games but OR/AS is how far i could get....

maybe i will buy switch with the updagraded version comes out. but probably the 3ds is the last new console i bought for a long time

nah, it will be like yellow, crystal, emerald, platinum..
the "final best version" of the game gen.... (and then the remakes)

I know Eurogamer is usually reputable when it comes to unconfirmed things, but it's still a rumor. This isn't fact yet.

ps4 pro is an upgrade...

I acknowledge it's a new system ( That uses cartridges) , but since the 3DS and the Wii U are Similar in some aspects I'm saying for me I considered it basically a upgraded N3DS and Wii U.
