Getting dsi exceptions when trying to get Mega (Sega) CD games to work with the genesis core. Seen some people have had no problems, in no real rush, but any pointers on what I'm doing wrong? Might be putting the bios in the incorrect place or have the files in the incorrect format? I still have a couple of my old Mega CD games so I can probably rip them to the correct format if needed etc.

Cheers!

(Bit late to this, but, holy hell 3rd Strike on Wii U. Awesome!)

I just realized a thing. WiiU's port of retroarch is still early, and yet, has beaten PS-Vita already for the performance in some cores!

Yeah, the team is even saying a full version of Snes9x 1.54 (now that it's getting MSU-1 support), shouldn't be an issue on the Wii U either, the fact Genesis, Snes, NES, CPS2 all run full speed out of the box, that's just insanely awesome :P

now wait for optimizations and full hardware use, as well as dynarec. I can feel it, the Nintendo Wii U will be the ultimate emulation machine soon!

Well, the wii u is a lot more powerful than the ps vita, that is why it can run emulators a lot better
And they said the WiiU hardware was trash :rofl2:
Sure it's not a PS4 nor an XBOX One, but hey, it's still pretty good.

I swear every single new RetroArch thread is filled with ppl reporting non working games they don't own the right roms to, and don't try them first on PC, like ppl tell them to in practicly every single page.

(eventhough you said this was working, I just like SvC's intro)

Is pretty simple to know if you have a incomplete romset or if ain't work.
If you return into retroarch's frontend = Incomplete/wrong romset
If you get DSi Exception/black screen crash (do not confuse with the time the core takes to load a rom) = core's issue

Pretty simple.

Was just playing CPS2, dayum the games run very well. And the SD card taking a long time to load a ROM folder, it had too many files in it so I trimmed down the amount of stuff on the card :D
Disabling filename extention sorting helps a lot too.

Oh so that helped?
Nice :)
You could also have created more folders or sort by extension like Vins said.

Eh, too late now, still, loads a lot faster. :D

I could, but they were save states from the Wii version of RA mostly.

Is someone can link working version virtual boy core, tried from buildbot versions and wiiubrew apps store and all are DSI crash for me

I believe Genesis Plus GX doesn't have 32x support, only up to CD.
What problem do you have with doom.wad?

The picodrive core does support 32x, the wiiu should run it just fine, anyone know why it hasnt been brought over yet? i cant imagine its as complicated as psx/n64/saturn/dreamcast.
