Ikr. They totally didn't revolutionize gaming in the least. If they drop the horrendous "Wii" brand and the "3D" gimmick that died out as a fad before the 3DS was even launched then that is a good thing. At least Duo is descriptive of what the product actually does and is distinctive from their previous products. At the same time it is kind of lame and unimaginative as a name, but then again Nintendo are lame and unimaginative as a company so what do you want.
The last good thing they did that revolutionized anything was the DS, everything since has been ultra garbage. Thank you Nintendo for waggle controls, 240p 3D screens, unwieldy tablet controllers and no new original IPs in 15 years, so much innovation right there.Ikr. Amiibos are great though, cheers for those.
To be fair, there was Splatoon. But I believe the last one before that was Pikmin which indeed launched 15 years ago, so yeah, one new IP in 15 years is hardly impressive. The last good thing they did that revolutionized anything was the DS, everything since has been ultra garbage. Doesn't look like the same image. The length of the blurred text is much shorter. But maybe he changed the font size afterwards.
