PS1/2 What is the best image burner for ps2 games?

I would go with nero. Use the slowest burn speed.
DVD games are single track, nothing special. You should be able to burn them with anything. More important is the media and potentially the drive.
Thank you....i'm trying to burn final fantasy x-2 but something goes always wrong...I can't understand why but the game doesn't run
I Tried with alcohol 120%, image burn and nero but nothing changes

As @smf said, the media type and drive can be factors as well. PS2 games are finicky like that. I've personally had better luck with -r. Rw wouldnt work at all. And I used a Sony burner.

I would try using different format dvd's before coming to that conclusion. Especially if it works for other things. Most modern disc burners should be able to handle it.
I usually use dvd-r...what format should I try?

There is only 2 ways to play CD/DVD backups : mod-chip or ESR. You dont exactly need FMDB/FHDB to run ESR, you just need a way to run unsigned code.

What is your PS2 model ? (SCPH ?)
If it's a Fat, do you have a network adapter ?
