Also @zoogie you need to update OP, Freakyhax and Ninjhax was updated to work on 11.1 now.

Reasons are subjective but i will give you mine so you know there is a reason and where you think its "morally" wrong.

I do it because i have had the taste of god, and i can't get it out of my head.

So now i chase that addiction on every game i can online, yes it's an addiction but it is a reason none the less.

Yeah, but then if you look at it from the perspective of all the other players, it just ruins the online play experience. It's not "morally" wrong because it's just a video game, but it does ruin the experience for everyone else playing with you. I know back in my high school years at one point I hated playing Halo: Custom Edition because people were using aimbots.
Just because its exhilarating for you doesn't mean it's any better for the legitimate players. People like you are what make me rarely play online anymore.

Makes sense. I just don't wanna deal with the hassle of trying to buy a 3DS right now, because I'm confused on how I'm gonna rack up $80-$200 for a n3DS or 2DS, when they could be going towards much greater stuff right now. If Ninty would just make the process a little easier by giving the n3DS Web Browser to all old models, & just care about specs a little more, we wouldn't be in this mess. Bill's not gonna be getting fired; it's Reggie. Man ain't doing his job.

On second note (& I probably should've checked), does stuff like Decrypt9 still work on 11.0? Because my SD Card got wiped & I accidentally updated, so I had to get my last backup from my SD Card, which was several months ago, but still happened to have all the Decrypt9 stuff on it. I know you can run basic Homebrew on 11.0, but I'm not sure if stuff like Decrypt9 would fall under that category.

I mean, it's the same with genning vs. breeding. Yeah, it looks bad for the players (even though you can't set IV & EV values higher than they can go), but it's good for us, because it saves time. I'm not one to take sides on it, so play however the hell you want.

At the end of the day, it's a game. We're all trying to get to the same place.

BootNTR was updated by AstronautLevel to now support 11.1 NFirm. So if you update that you will no longer need firmware.bin

NTR CFW requires an exploitable console. It won't run on a vanilla 11.x system. You have to have Kernel9LoaderHax or some way to run a CFW that patches out the PASLR in the loader system module among other things. This requires a fully exploited system. Not a user level exploit.

@zoogie You should probably add to OP that those on 11.0 with a modified home menu (custom sleep screen, custom language, etc.) may have their 11.1 update fail. Downloading a fresh copy of homemenu for their region as a cia from 3DNUS and installing it should stop the update from failing.

Can someone tell me how to delete the existing title so I can install the fresh one? I downloaded the EUR .cia via 3DNUS one for my 11.0E EU new 3DS and when I try to install it FBI says it can't because the title already exists but I simple can't find a installed title with the ID: 0004003000009802 so I'm really stumped here o.o
