Use a cartridge-based game or wait until fixes are made.

Yeah you can, but you'll need a physical cartridge for ocarina of time or sticker star, and either a power saves (OOT only, and i'm not sure if anyone has dumped and shared a power save file for it yet) or somebody else with home-brew already functional to load the exploit into either of them.
