Hacking Can anyone confirm the controls of Nintendont?

I have been looking everywhere just to see a basic control scheme of what is what on Nintendont, and I been having issues.

This is what I know so far;

A - A on Wii
B - B on Wii
L+R - Outwards motion with Wiimote & nunchuck
Z - Z on Nunchuck
X - + on Wii
Y - minus on Wii
Other external control - Inwards motion with Wiimote & Nunchuck - (I am guessing R Button???)
C - Zoom/Move Camera

I been experimenting with the Legend of Zelda Windwaker, and so far I can't get the R Function to work with the nunchuck properly, and the telescope zoom...

One question.
Where is the R Function on the controller?
I am using a Wiimote (Regular Wii remote.)

Seems like a control issue with the game it's self with Nintendont.

For whatever reason you need a certian item equipped before using it... It took me like three hours to figure this out on my own with just purely expirmenting in the game...

1. Shield will only work if you have a shield, and weapon equipped. If you do not have a weapon equipped you will sneak instead.

2. On rare occasion you may activate your shield without a weapon. This seems like a glitch with the controls of the game.

3. You have to use Motion Controls to control the (C) Function that would normally be found on a GameCube controller. The nunchuck acts as the regular joystick while if you hold C on the Nunchuck, and point in a certian direction that will trigger the function to work. Telescope has issues but I got it to work after 30 mins of myself using motion to move the telescope, link orcastrating etc.

Controls (For C)

Hold C + In middle with Wiimote Nunchuck - Using C Function but not moving

Hold C + Wiimote down - Up with C Function

Hold C + Wiimote up - Down with C Function

Hold C + Wiimote left - Left with C Function

Hold C + Wiimote right - Right with C Function

Issues I encountered include issues with camera angles, and some mini games like the orcherstra song things, and telescope mechanics. Unless you're desperate I highly recommend you play with a Wavebird Controller, becuase I struggled on the tutorial just becuase of the telescope, and conducting parts. (Took me around 1 hour to complete those tasks in total.) The inital storyline took me less than that just to get to the main game (10 - 30 mins?) Hope this helps someone still learning the controller, and game mechanics. The only thing I could not get to work was picking up moving objects in the game, like pigs. So unless you want to pickup moving things in the game than I would recommend using a Wavebird Controller.

While nunchuck controls are supported, i highly don't think it should be used unless the game is more simple in terms of control features, Is almost like playing resident evil on gamecube with wiimote nunchuck when you can just play the wii game version with proper controls or use a gamecube controller, Same with LOZ Twilight princess. In my opinion, is better to use class controller, or even a ps3 controller, (Nintendo also support ps3 and other HID Controllers, Depends on the controller) if you cannot have access to gamecube controller. But whatever your reason is, i am curious now, what game are you trying to play anyway?

Legend of Zelda Windwaker. I am tempted to use a PS3 controller but I wouldn't be able to acsess the hidden port in my Wii (For GC Controls.) Without having to take off the supports for the console, (It's in the back of my TV next to a table.) And putting it on the table, completely rewiring and seeing if the Wii cables would fit perfectly into the other inputs, outputs, etc...

I can use a Wavebird but I don't have that at the moment.

Well if you have access to tthe usb port, make sure you use a long wire for your ps3 controller. Other wise you won't be able to move much. You can also use the classic controller which is probably better in your case in terms of setup, it sounds like your system is in a unreachable place.

Well it is technically reachable but the setting it up to move it from the TV, to the table would take a long time, and it's very dangerous becuase if I screw up and one of the supports all of a sudden wants to stop working while I am moving it, it will break due to collisions.

The classic controller plugs into your wiimote like the nunchuck, But it still works. the wii u pro controller is known to work with nintendon't But i never tested it on a wii, only vwii on wii u since i wouldn't know how to pair wii u pro controller on non wii u system.

Yeah I saw that. I am planning on getting a Wireless Wavebird, or Classic Controller since those seem like the best options avilable for playing. But my Wiimote works fine (for now.)

The current version of Nintendont has many control schemes for Wiimote + Nunchuk.
Personally I prefer Naggers' layout for almost everything, personally. (Which you enable by pressing 2+Right on the D-pad.)
