Homebrew Buyed one O3DS for 40$, 11.0.0-33 version (shit)

Okay so today I found a deal in my town, one dude wanted to sell his O3DS for 40$ BUT the 3DS are in the last version.
"No big deal" I say to myself, because there is some hax in the last version and I can have one Sky3DS from a friend to install some shit and homebrew... and downgrade.

But, in the plailect guide, I see this :

If you are on version 11.0.0, you MUST have used a hardmod downgrade to successfully complete Part 2 later.

Shit.

So, what can I do now ?
No hardmode, no downgrade ?

I have a 2DS in the last version on Luma with A9HL if that can help.

(in all seriousness, depending on where you live, a hardmod isn't really expensive, and can be really useful if you like to make some experiments with your console).

Well, you didn't really lose 40$, if the console's in good state it's pretty cheap.
And you'll be able to experience the amazing 3D effect, with some games it's really nice

Well, we need an ARM9 exploit to downgrade with 11.0, so downgrading would be kinda useless at that point, and the last one found (on 9.2) was 1 year and a half ago... So they're really rare. Don't expect to get your free games anytime soon™.
