It might not be as hard to just make a converter. Just converting the phoenix wright case file into the .ini

Yup, you are right, do you know someone who might be able to do it, if so, can you please tag 'em here? I saw Turnabout Substitution but, I was not able to do that..
I guess @cearp might be able to help?

Well, that's why I said 'finished'. But, I didn't know about Ace Attorney Online; are those cases able to be used with PyWright?
Yup there are quite a lot, just search up for Ace Attorney Online on Google. It is the first site on there.

Just came here to nitpick: i took a look at the program's general structure and writing a tool that converts the case file is not the easiest way, in fact it's not even a proper way. Just wanted to say before someone even tries it.

any ideas then?

Unfortunately there is no idea that could save us from the inevitable: the program has to be rewritten from scratch. Since this is a medium scope program i would say that our only hope is to find a developer not involved in any project and that wants to dedicate.

The online case maker doesn't load on the 3ds too.. :(
I guess, we will need to find someone to either port Pywright or PWlib!

What about it? Can we port that for the 3ds? @MRJPGames

A quick Google search didn't turn up any download links for PWlib (that are still online) and as such also no source. The Anime Image Game Enigne it is a module for also seems to be closed source making an port impossible unless someone who made AIGE and as such has access to the source would port it or make it open source.

I would love if someone could find the source for these and make a port, it would be awesome to be able to play custom PWAA cases on the 3DS!

Well, I found the download of PWlib here, don't know if its okay to post the link or not:- http://forums.court-records.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=8788
So, can we port it for the 3ds?

It's not piracy so it's okay to post. Though it might be considered that because it uses the original sprites I believe...
Anyways, all download links on that page are also down except for the one that only includes images and sound files that can be used in cases.

I would hardly call a cashed copy "up" but it does make it likely that it will come online at somepoint soon(tm). But until then I really do not know, but the port seems unlikely but maybe SWIM can find the source and port it.
Yeah, but we can download PWlib using cached copy..
Also, who is SWIM?

Best bet would probably be making one from scratch
Yeah, I guess you are right. But, it seems that no developer is interested in making a case maker for the 3ds.. :(

There where attempts at making visual novel interpreter for the 3ds, but it didn't get very far I think.
