now i get it, just like what the internal hdd's from ps3's ps4's come with.
mm, how will i know what brand my nand is?
NAND size is the indicator. Samsung are the bigger size on O3DS (954 MB), and smaller size on N3DS (1.2 GB). It doesn't matter anymore. All NANDs work now.
Im really dumb so would you please simplify that... btw I just hold tge hotkey while turning on.
Yeah, you just hold a hotkey (like B) while turning the system on and it goes to GW instead of your CFW, but boot without the hotkey and it runs like normal. There's a step by step guide on a certain iso site, but it would just get burried here. Oh well, I can cut and paste it anyway I guess:
0. Make sure that "firm0.bin", "firm1.bin", "secret_sector.bin", and your "otp.bin" are still on your SD card in your "a9lh" folder. If you've deleted them, copy them back over.
1. Rename the existing "arm9loaderhax.bin" on your SD card to "arm9loaderhax.bin.bak"
2. Copy the contents of
the file posted here to your SD card.
2.5 (optional) If you want to use different hotkeys from the "X+Y" and "X+A" defaults, extract
the file posted here. Find the file that has the hotkeys you want to use for "Gateway" and "Safe A9LH Installer" (respectively) in it's name. Copy it to the "a9lh" folder on your SD card. Now go into the "a9lh" folder on your SD card and delete "payload_stage1.bin" and rename the file you just copied over to "payload_stage1.bin"
3. Put your SD card back into your 3DS and boot your system. A9LH Safe Installer should run, and you should be prompted to hit the "select" button. Hit the select button, and if all went well, it will say it succeeded, and to press any key to turn the system off. Do that.
4. Now, remove your memory card and connect it to your computer again. Move the "arm9loaderhax.bin" from the root of the card to your "a9lh" folder. Rename "arm9loaderhax.bin.bak" back to "arm9loaderhax.bin"
5. Now, eject your SD card and place it back into your 3DS. If all went well, your normal payload will run by default, GW will run with your first hotkey, and Safe A9LH installer will be launched by your second hotkey. If you stayed with the default, this means "X+Y" will load GW, and "X+A" will run Safe A9LH Installer. If you used, say, the B-START alternate payload, B will run GW, and START will run Safe A9LH Installer.
That should cover it if you already have A9LH installed. If not, just follow
Plaillect's Guide, ignore the RedNAND rubbish and just use your existing EmuNAND, and substitute liomajor's Safe A9LH Installer for the one the guide provides.
