We know that the package is 500 MB so it's still not believable.
Looks legit for me.

The rest of the 500mb is on the readme.

"I e-mailed GW to see if GBA was on their list and they said they would work on it after that release.

I already asked them about this six months ago and I asked them again two months ago, both times they answered it was coming, don't get your hopes too high...

SOON

A silly -or not so silly- question:

Can you skip directly to the second part (installing a9lh through Gateway installer) if you already have an otp.bin (from Plailect's method)?

If not, why not? What does the first part do, apart from downgrading and producing the otp.bin file?

Yeah, it was back in Fall 2014 when they initially teased the feature, LOL

See? I had read somewhere in this thread that an otp.bin file was actually created.

So, in theory, that would be all that is needed for using Gateway's a9lh installer, but I need someone to confirm this theory.

You cant install GW k9lh with an existing otp. They didnt include this feature (yet?)

@K3Nv2, Exactly. Take note of the Switch, for example. Its underpowered compared to how older tech was capable of doing just about anything.

@K3Nv2, Not gonna lie, about half of its game library was shovelware like its counterpart, the Wii.

@Xdqwerty, The Wii U was essentially an early Switch, before the Switch was a thing.

I think my favorite PS1 enhancement is sub pixel precision, helps get rid of some of those wobbly polygons lol

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Psionic Roshambo, By default, the polygons are filtered with differing to simulate depth, which doesn't make them clearer.

There are ways to disable this by creating cheat codes, but this requires knowledge of the PS1 hardware.
