Homebrew Hi! I have Arm9LH installed and tried to play MH4U and Smash Bros.....

So yeah.. I have arm9lh installed and tried to play MH4U and Smash bros but it didn't work.
All it did was load the Nintendo 3DS Splash screen and gave me just a black screen. Fix?


Do also take note that this happened to both the Downloaded version and the cartridge version. Thanks for the help.

I just followed plailect's guide and yeah...
It's on Sys11.0.0.3 now.

You can just set the Decrypt9, Emunand9 and other, to boot by pressing a button


like pressing Y boots Decrypt9
Start boots Emunand9, etc

oh yeah, right that.. but.. Now smash and mh4u is working (now that I've removed the bootanim9.. how can I make it work while retaining bootanim9?)

Hey um...I actually have 2 3DSses here...1 japanese old3dsxl(region changed to us) and 1 us.
the US one worked(working mh4u and smash) with the removal of bootanim9..
but the Japanese one(region changed to us) still haven't worked. (removed bootanim9)

Did you perform a system format after successfully region changing? People have reported that works, and is also mentioned in the Region Changing section of Plailect's guide, last paragraph.

You might want to try this build of BootAnim9. Just extract the zip to root, delete "anim/arm9payload.bin" and MAKE SURE to name the Luma3DS payload "luma.bin" inside the "anim" folder.
