Hacking WiiU VC game injection working on 5.3.2

Well guys I finally did what I said I would. Here's the results of trying "Super Mario 64: Star Road" injected into the 3 (Seemingly) most effective bases.

Super Mario 64: Boots to Title - Proceeds to Crash afterwards
Sin and Punishment (Original Ini): Flat-out Crash - Whole System
Sin and Punishment (SM64 Ini): Boots to Title - Proceeds to Crash System
Donkey Kong 64 (Original Ini): Weirdly Crashes, but only Emulator, not System - No Title Screen
Donkey Kong 64 (SM64 Ini): Weirdly Crashes, but only Emulator, not System - No Title Screen

Some close chances but it never booted to the file select screen no matter what. I doubt it's possible.

As far as I know there's no game that uses a newer emulator than S&P, so I guess this pretty much confirms any MAJOR SM64 hack seems to result in a crash, if this is anything to go off of.

I may try another major SM64 hack just to see any differences, but I doubt it'll change anything.

Unless someone finds a way to make inis for N64 ROMS, we're screwed. xD

It's such a shame too. Super Mario 64 hacking is getting pretty big. It'd be nice to play a lot of the good hacks on my TV instead. ;_; I was just hoping that it'd work. Lol.

That's the bad thing though, those hacks seem to add too much shit to the original game that some emus just go ape shit and black screen. xD
My wildest dream is that somehow an INI generator is made one day, that would be absolutely magical.

I can't figure out how to use this whatsoever. How do I install what's needed to run the GUI version?

Just use inject_gba.py script and the instructions on the readme about the command to use.

We're currently looking into that, and Snes as well as NES share the same offsets for the GX2 asm functions, N64 would use similar settings, but the offsets are different. Soon, we should be able to find out how that works as well, but it might be some time.

In terms of DS injection, Style Savvy seems to be worth checking out since it's the latest release in the US. Been playing Hotel Dusk Room 215 on it for a little bit and it's nearly perfect, just an occasional glitched frame here and there during 2D talking scenes.

In terms of DS injection, Style Savvy seems to be worth checking out since it's the latest release in the US. Been playing Hotel Dusk Room 215 on it for a little bit and it's nearly perfect, just an occasional glitched frame here and there during 2D talking scenes.

Were you mentioning the original Biohazard 2 ini or did Nintendo release a new one for USA and EUR Resident Evil 2?

Style Savvy isn't that great. Renderscale is disabled and there's this default filter on in addition to the one you can turn on with clicking the right stick. It looks terrible.
