I just saw the new boot animations and they look neat. Can i used them in any cfw like RxTools that i currently use? And what is actually AuReinand and what does it provide more than RxTools? Thanks :D

Reinand and RXtools are pretty similar. Reinand was the first to have emuNAND about 9.5 and rxtools has some unique tools and extra features (Like region-free) which Reinand does not. Also can you provide a link to the custom boot animations you saw. I want to check them out for myself

Thanks for the link, I'll check this out. I'm currently using Reinand on both of my N3DSs and I really like it, I used Decrypt9WIP to inject FBI to health and safety (inject feature included in rxtools)

Most games/updates/themes I've installed have no problem. I did have an edited Hyrule Warriors Legends cia that wouldn't show up because it was out of region but NTR 3.3 fixes that. I have to run NTR then unwrap them each time but saves stick and that won't be a problem since I can uncart my USA copy that I'm picking up after work today (Hopefully the other region's save will transfer) This isn't a problem on the RxTools O3DS as it shows up automatically.
I have also installed some EUR cias that have the region-free built into the cia that don't have to be unwrapped every time on Reinand.

I don't know if this is a N3DS or Reinand issue but in order to get proper 3D working I have to close the N3DS then re-open it. It doesn't do it on the rxtools O3DS but I think it has to do with N3DS and not ReiNand

I also found Reinand easier to set up for me but that may be because I did it like 3 times (not because I had errors but because I have 2 N3DSs and also did it once to test something out)
In all honesty they're about the same. I'd use ReiNand on N3DS and rxtools on O3DS but to each their own, I guess.

I believe the saves are good to move doesnt matter the version. Thanks for the info btw

That's what I was thinking. I haven't looked into it but I'm sure that someone has tried to transfer saves between regions. I've personally injected Y into X and AS into OR and they went through successfully. I was even able to trade and battle with the same saves so I would think it's possible.

Yeah it should work and i believe its really easy.

Also about the animations. Do you think they can be used in any CFW or do they need AuReinand specificaly?

Also its been a while since you last helped me. Ty!
If you type Plailect arm9loaderhax guide into google you'll find the established guide that everybody links to when people have questions, I haven't memorised the link yet.

Its okay. Thanks alot. Could you tell me what it really does or is it said in the link too?
Yeah it has background information as well. Basically a9lh takes control before the firm is even booted, meaning you can a) update your sysNAND without losing custom firmware, b) restore NAND backups without hardmod, c) boot custom firmware as fast as booting up normal sysNAND (menuhax booing into emuNAND is really slow).
