Hacking Is there any way to bypass a game update on 5.5.1?

I want to play offline on a game, I actually got the option to play offline on an alternate console when starting it for the first time on that console, but on my console I do not get the option to start without updating. So I am wondering if there is any way to play my game without updating only offline. Thanks

that means there is a game update i think, since you're already on the latest firmware is what i'm understanding. you could hurry up and update it, then setup tubehax dns, but i'm not gonna say that's all good right now. ninty could release a firmware update any moment now that mynintendo is about to drop this week. at your own risk dude, i'd rather wait myself

I tried tubehaxx dns on both consoles but it only worked with the alternate console, whatever I try it keeps saying the software cannot be started because of the update, but I don't understand because the alternate console is on the exact same Wii U firmware

like i said, you could be brave and turn off tubehax for a min just so the firmware check doesn't fail, then put it back on after the game verifies itself. i recently did this for all my games a couple weeks back to get them all on the latest update. but doing so now could be very risky considering you could end up on a potentially new update like fw 6.0.0 (speculating btw)

Just turn off tubehax for a while, update your game, then turn on tubehax. There's no need to bypass that game update.
Just be sure that there isn't a new system update by the time you turn off tubehax.

There is a reason for me to not update this game in particular, if tubehaxx can't do it then maybe a factory reset can

don't reset!! just set your dns settings to auto obtain. pop the game in and it should do it's thing. then manually add 107.211.140.065 to both primary and secondary dns again. profit
there is no reason not to be on the latest game update if your console fw is at the latest.

But then I will be playing on the latest firmware of the game, I'm trying to play it without updating

don't understand why you want this, but your answer to OP is no. just play on the other console then if you don't want the latest update.

Well, the problem is that I can't really access that console for very long. So if anyone knows, would a factory reset work? Because I could play on the alternate console without updating, but I want it to work for this console

Updating the game doesn't update the console.

Factory resetting it is an extreme way of deleting the pending update, when as @DarkJediRey has already stated: you just need to remove tubehaxx dns > update your game > reinstate tubehaxx dns.

There is no logical reason why you wouldn't want the game updated unless the update changes some feature and you don't like it????

You are on the latest FW any way... It won't change anything.

why not take out your wiiu internet connection? if the game update is being checked online then without internet it cant check it but you wont be able to play online with that game if it has online.

That does not work at all (tried on both consoles), on my alternate console I tried that and it didn't even give me the option to play offline but using tubehaxx exploit it gave me the option to play offline, but not on my console? I'm not sure why it's doing this
