way to bypass update to play games

i want to play game without update but it wont let me it says i have to download update, is there a mod or app that lets me bypass this

Just install the update.
very helpful, this is exactly what my problem was, the title of this isnt totally how to bypass updates or anything implying i dont want to download the update, not to mention the fact i cant because i dont have storage left on my system

The system know the update is available that why it nag you to update. If you have a modded wii u , run your game off a hdd.

There is some version.bin file on the SLC, where the Wii remembers the latest version of all titles. I guess you had the update installed at some point and then deleted it.
I think the only way would be to change the version in that file, but I don't know the details.
