Hey i know this maybe has been asked for many times. but i'm using paleict's guide to go a9lh cakes fw and i want to install aureinand. How do you do it? i tried it once, delete some files from ctrboot9 and the cakes fw itself, but it only gives me black screen. i already copied arm9loaderhax.bin and copied rei folder to my root. thank you for your answers :)

I'd recommend not using ctrboot9, as AuReiNAND already has a boot loader.

So place everything from the latest AuReiNAND zip and place it on your SD card. Don't forget to place the proper firmware files on your SD card.

Do you already have A9LH installed? AuReiNand arm9loaderhax.bin will not load until A9LH is installed.

He updated the guide for that: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-5-(arm9loaderhax-&-AuReiNAND)

Do steps 1-9 as prescribed and take note of the image below to match what should be in the root of your SD card.

It depends on what you want really, the question of using BootCTR9 or not. If all you want is Decrypt9 early on at boot, the way AuReiNAND does it is fine, but if you want that and more (and more configurability) than BootCTR9 is a good choice.

Thank you, mate i'm gonna try it then it really helps .

I already installed a9lh but i want to switch from cakes fw sysnand to aureinand sysnand. but i'm kinda confused about the process, since the instructions in the front of this thread it's not very clear for me. (maybe) for me only.

wow thank you very much! I didn't know that plailect updated his guide. thank you!

I see, maybe i should read more about BootCTR9 to determine whether i'm gonna use it or not. Thank you!

Any help guys. I have right now a emunand booting with sysupdate flag in the rei folder and pressing L and autobooting emunand. How can I start fresh and new on a stock sysnand with A9LH and wipe the lot, keeping the hack.

There is also uncart, and maybe other cfws you want to be able to boot sometimes(maybe later gw). Its not possible to boot more than one other payload using aureinand alone.
Also you would need to have a special decrypt9 version with screen init to be able to use it on aureinand and arm9loaderhax without screen init, while bootctr9 has screen init included with support to configure screen init and screen brightness(later also for the payloads itself).
