My laptop is too old to run Cemu, also it's 32-bit anyway.

My sister's laptop is new, but the screen is broken. Do you guys recommend me to fix my sister's laptop, or buy a new laptop?

Gaming laptops can be very expensive, what are your sister's laptop specs?

If the screen is broken, you gotta replace it especially on a laptop screen which cost at least P4000 in the Philippines.

One thing I noticed on Cemu 1.3.3(the freeze error still exist) is this:

You can see the picture of the custom level. Sadly, you can't create another course.

Well yes. It will be able to update.

How about convert Pikmin3.wud by using UWizard? Make sure you have the wud file and the Title Key for that to convert it.
I've entered the common key and the Pikmin 3 key, and have opened the WUD file itself. I've extracted the game files. What now?

You also can plug in a monitor/modern TV :)
That can also suffice, though it hurts portability. If you have the skills to replace a broken display on a laptop, at that point, you'd end up taking it out its case and doing some craptastic jury rigging to make it not run like the earth's core. Then you end up with something like this:

However this is getting pretty off topic now, so I'll drop the derailment.

Last edited by Fazana,
Turns out that the problem with my sister's laptop is the famous 8-beeps issue that happens only on Dell Inspiron laptops. :(

The permanent solution is to replace the motherboard.
A temporary solution is to heat the GPU.

Yes you can.

Huh? That fixed too?

Now you got the Loadiine version of Pikmin. The good thing is that you can update the game with loadiine. But nothing's different between wud and loadiine. The gameplay still the same.
Another good thing is that you can add your custom texture on loadiine files. So enjoy having loadiine. It's not a bad thing.

I know it's early days and it was probably mentioned previously in this thread, but just how exactly do you emulate the actual Wii U Menu?

I have all the system titles (apart from the vWii ones) which i downloaded using NUSgrabber and i would like to know how to put it all together in order to replicate the actual filesystem of the Wii U, as if it were a emuNAND.

The only way I'd think of doing it would be root.rpx in OSv11, which will still probably break really badly

I'm not asking for Loadiine (playing backups on your Wii U), I mean playing the games on the PC using the CEMU emulator.

That's what I'm trying to do. These kind of method also work on Cemu unless you have a bad PC Specs.

Photoshop Little Mac.

So texture modding is theoretically possible already then? Even more so when the emulator gets round to supporting those bells and whistles?

(WiiU Repainted confirmed)

Also, another video because why not.

@Exzap and @Petergov, I have some questions about feature development in Cemu:
There are plans to support USB controllers? And about savestates?

Also, I have a feature request (when/if it's technically possible, of course): Select a different game directly, without have to close and open the emulator again would be a nice feature too, not only for usability improvement but also as it would help a lot for users who are doing massive testing in each version :)
Thank you!
