Hacking Running Japanese games on Wii U 5.4?

Hello, I currently own a Wii U on 5.4, I used the Loadiine GX hack and I'm able to run games fine but I've been trying to run the Japanese version of Xenoblade Chronicles X for a while now and I only get a black screen. Is this because the Wii U needs to be region unlocked separately? I know I can run the American version of the game just fine. Maybe I have a bad dump but it's the only Japanese game I've been able to find so I can't tell for sure.

Some jap games have problems because they look for us/eu data on US/EU consoles. But most of them work and Xenoblade X should work iirc. Make sure you have the app.xml and cos.xml.

I just noticed I'm missing the whole "Meta" folder, do you think this is my problem?
Also I don't have the files you mentioned either

I just used the bgm files on the eu undub which works fine. Maybe you need to update the game? Use NUSGrabber to download last update. Decrypt it and replace the files to update the title. I have NUS grabber but I only have keys for American games, How do you get updates for Japanese games? Also does your JPN folder look the same as mine?

The meta is not needed.
Your rpx is in the wrong directory.
It should be code\AX5J.rpx (not code\XenobladeX\AX5J.rpx)
