So I looked at the patch file that @SciresM posted, and they definitely apply a lot of patches for "networking" and "link cables". Looks like getting other link cable games to work is not as easy as I thought... You need to know Z80 ASM to write the necessary patches (lazy Nintendo... couldn't even write code for the emulator to do it cleanly ).

The other mods will work again after you fixed the .patch-files

compared to what the original lol?

These are using the Gold/Silver Sprites

Right may have got Trading working with the Custom Sprites and the Sprint Combined as well as seperate.

Will update *that site* soon as its up


on another note had the Same issue with JKs loaded the save up.
Couldnt move from my spot ingame and it also froze my game this time round

So we managed to decrypt and extract the 2016 release of Pokémon Red.
I managed to inject Pokémon Crystal (French) instead and it's working.

So now I'm guessing things:
1) Inject several GB(C), like Gold/Silver/Crystal, and try local trade.
2) Try to merge the OldVC with the NewVC. Because the new can't use the insta-save (or perma-save, I don't know the english name because I play in French). So save in the VC Menu, if you see what I mean.

Who have x2 3DS and ability to run run CIAs for try the local trade with injected rom into the NewVC?

I have 3 3DS,
So as Long as it cryptofixed, I can test trading and stuff
