Wow, I don't know why two other threads were created. Can a mod delete the other two?

Can't we have a homebrew launcher that's independent of any payload?

Probably, but it's still the same situation I mentioned in that other thread. A fair amount of work would have to be done, and it'd probably have its own compatibility issues if it doesn't provide X service that homebrew Y needs.

Why we need this?
CIA can only be executed on Signature Patched system.
But mostly we need to boot HBL on Signature Unpatched system.

You don't use homebrews? I do. I autoboot using MenuHax to my Emunand and I've got the launcher installed to boot some 3dsx. ;)

To use homebrew from emunand. Either for convenience so you are not rebooting the system to access homebrew or accessing homebrew for specifically HANS, SVDT, Pokemon homebrew bank and other homebrews like that which you want to specifically access in emunand given most people unlink their NANDs.

I'm using ctrboot manager with menuhax to load into gw emunand. When I use this on Emunand it launches ctrboot manager all over again. is there a way work around to this?

This cia launches boot.3dsx
You can get around this by hex editing the payload for Menuhax to load some other 3dsx or setup ctrbootmanager to load homebrew when you hold a certain button

Payloads launch boot.3dsx by default. If you want the payload to launch something else than the ctrbootman's boot.3dsx, hexedit the path in the payload directly.
