So, i recently bought a 3DS XL but it has the version 10.5 installed. I bought it pretty cheap so i am thinking, should i go ahead and buy a flashcart or wait for a development where i can play games from my sd card? (any soft update available?)
Why wait for a miracle that might never come when you can just get the 3DS nand modded and downgrade?

10.5 consoles can still be downgraded and given how cheap you got the console, it would be VERY cost effective to nand mod it!
Hundshamer can do it for $40-50 dollars and done professionallywell, the hardmod seems like not a good option for me cuz i am not good at soldering
There's no miracle coming any time soon. You barley missed the method of downgrading. I think you should just get a flash cart if you're interested in piracy.
Well, you SHOULD buy your games legitimately, but it doesn't sound like you want to do that.
Maybe I'm being unfair, but in my experience, if you're sold something at about 30% of the going rate, it's likely stolen, and you probably know it, so buying stuff legitimately is perhaps not the OPs concern.
If only this thread was to discuss piracy/op's life. kek
But yeah, getting someone to do a nand mod for you would be a great option.

Why hard mod? Just use browser hax, get menu hax, downgrade using system downgrader app, then get RXtools then your done. No need of flash card

if only it was easy to do a non hard mod downgradeCan't software downgrade on 10.5 without a hard mod.
This thread is pretty clearly a discussion of piracy options:
And I'm not judging anyone either way, just stating an opinion. You can sell a 3DS XL to any of the hock-shops in my town for minimum $50, so who sells one privately for $30?
Do I have to post more to access this deal? I'm beyond interested in it.Hundshamer can do it for $40-50 dollars and done professionally
I would be interested to, but it's just that i live far away, and with the shipping would be cheaper for me if i buy a flashcart :/Do I have to post more to access this deal? I'm beyond interested in it.

yea, heard about him. But only shipping costs are around 40$ for the 3DS so i guess its better to go and get a flashcardThere's at least one member in Europe who does it (@gamesquest1 is based in the UK), but I don't know if there are any in Albania, Greece, or any other close-by country to you that could do it.
Well a Sky3DS will cost you more than double that. So for the cost of the Sky3DS, which is your only option for a 3DS flashcart on 10.5, you could ship your 3DS to gamesquest1 to be NAND modded and downgraded to 9.2 so you can use CFW. This will give you everything the Sky3DS can do and much much more. It's an easy decision to be honest, NAND mod and downgrade is the best solution.yea, heard about him. Well you've already said that postage is $40. He charges £25 (approx. $36) to carry out the modification. That's $61. As for the risk, well he's carried out a lot of mods and knows what he's doing. There's risk involved in any mods, including flashcarts (bans, for example).Yea, but i mean...he charges for his service? + the risk of damaging the 3DS + The shipping? it might get more expensive, right ?

It's your decision of course and nobody should be trying to talk you into anything. But I do strongly feel that hardmodding is not only a cheaper option, it is a better option as it gives you so much more than a cart emulator like Sky and is relatively safe as long as it's done by somebody with experience.
You're welcomei will most definitely think about it Thanks for your time and support
