I'm not sure if I should use sysUpdater to manually update to 10.3 emuNAND, or System Settings to go straight to 10.5. Apparently there are some reasons why 10.5 emuNAND isn't as good in some aspects?

Pros and Cons?

(btw it's on reinand n3ds too)

10.5.

There is no point of updating to avoid 10.5. And there is no point to update to 10.3 lol because you won't be able to access eshop and online services.

I just run System Settings in emuNAND and press the System Update button?

You can do this, but don't forget to update the firmware.bin on your MicroSD card. It's on ReiNAND's github page.

I use ReiNAND 10.5 and it's working like a charm for me :D Why wouldn't you update if it helps you get access to eshop and stuff? No reason to stay at 10.3 EmuNAND.

No, I'm just wondering if it's possible to install a cia installer to emuNAND if you didn't before you updated to 10.5.

Since Reinand uses FIRM from 10.2, you could maybe try using NASA to install FBI or devmenu/BBM to your emuNAND (since signatures are patched in emuNAND, it won't stop you from installing a CIA manager). might take a few tries though, since memchunkhax2 is unstable.

Yeah, you only need to launch the HBL then you can use the .3dsx version of FBI to install your preferred .cia manager to the homescreen.

Browserhax is the easiest way to achieve this. As suggested by @tom2199, I'd recommend installing the HBL .cia at this point too.
