Homebrew Stop telling people who are on 10.3 to downgrade.

I have to explain in every single post I make that I can't downgrade because I get the "An error has occurred" softbrick every time I try. Usually the reasons people give for not downgrading are bad or misinformed reasons, so I'm gonna tell them whatever I want.

I had this problem with my 9.6 N3DS, 50+ softbricks. Take that card and back up all its contents, format with windows utility and set the cluster size to 32kb (Nintendo has this small detail on there FAQS page), that small difference changes how the 3DS parses blocks (units of memory). Then copy all files back (keep that backup). That N3DS downgraded after first try with Browserhax but refused using OoTHax. This was the same process for My O3DS and 2DS.

Stop making pointless threads and posts. You not wanting to downgrade means nothing to anyone...

...and nobody is trying to force you to do anything. People only suggest that you do it. I've downgraded 4 systems successfully. So, I can't share in your experience.

If you want homebrew access, you should downgrade. Try some of the stuff that the people int this thread did to make it work.

I only have a N3DS. I waited a while and downgraded at a friend's house with no problem. Now I'm on emuNAND 10.4U, best risk take I ever did. Hail hail to 9.2 master race!
