capitalism for the win.

fuck you communist scum.
Is piracy a communist act? Being a tea leaf, or seeking alternative means of distribution, seems to be built into most capitalist models -- stock shrink, grey markets, fraud and all that good stuff.

That is ideal capitalism which fails in much the same was as communism fails in practice.

capitalism = mine is mine. yours is mine once I figure out a way to charge you interest or write the contract.

My reasons:
1) I like to tease Nintendo with how their security sucks.
2) Free stuff! I've probably pirated at least over £500 worth of stuff. ;O;
3) Game modding. (Obviously on games that I don't legally have)

Reasons why:
games not being released in my region (North America) and/or requiring English translations to play them. The Detective Conan games are a good example of this.
Some older games are rare and/or expensive to buy.
Some games have no trials to test the water so to speak before dumping money on buying it.

I should've added this one, because this is a big reason I pirate games too.

Reasons why:
Because I don't care about morals™ or what other people think of it.

Real question is: Why does anybody even care? I don't think I need to explain myself to SJWs/Nintendo fuckboys

1) Not having a job = no money.
2) Trying out the game before I buy( if I like it I'll buy it [if I really like it I'll buy the whole series])
3) For fun, and boasting off to friends.

I don't pirate. Stealing is wrong. When I say things like, "I want ARM9 kernel so I can pirate games use the full power of the system for homebrew," I'm always kidding. I NEVER pirate games, and the only CIA's I've ever installed were Cubic Ninja (so I can use my card for my O3DS), SM3DL (because I lost the card on the bus), and a bunch of homebrew stuff.

Pirating isn't stealing though.
