Give me your legitimate reasons why, I'll go first.
1) Nintendo won't give me free stuff
2) I don't like going outside
3) I don't have any money

Is piracy a communist act? Being a tea leaf, or seeking alternative means of distribution, seems to be built into most capitalist models -- stock shrink, grey markets, fraud and all that good stuff.capitalism for the win.
fuck you communist scum.

That is ideal capitalism which fails in much the same was as communism fails in practice.capitalism = mine is mine. yours is yours.
communism = mine is yours. yours is mine.

capitalism = mine is mine. yours is mine once I figure out a way to charge you interest or write the contract.
I should've added this one, because this is a big reason I pirate games too.Reasons why:
games not being released in my region (North America) and/or requiring English translations to play them. The Detective Conan games are a good example of this.
Some older games are rare and/or expensive to buy.
Some games have no trials to test the water so to speak before dumping money on buying it.
Because Nintendo's (and other company's) profits would fall due to lack of legit purchases, even though there's only 1-2% of Dirty Entitled Pirates™ and 98-99% of normal people.Real question is: Why does anybody even care? I don't think I need to explain myself to SJWs/Nintendo fuckboys
My family was having issues buying food last month.Saying "being poor" is a lame excuse.
If you couldn't eat, have clothes or a house to live, THEN you are poor.
Pirating isn't stealing though.I don't pirate. Stealing is wrong. When I say things like, "I want ARM9 kernel so I canpirate gamesuse the full power of the system for homebrew," I'm always kidding. I NEVER pirate games, and the only CIA's I've ever installed were Cubic Ninja (so I can use my card for my O3DS), SM3DL (because I lost the card on the bus), and a bunch of homebrew stuff.
You are using something you didn't pay for and don't have the rights to use. That's stealing, kid.Pirating isn't stealing though.
