Hacking Bricked N3DS after doing nothing.

What's weird is
1. It didn't start scrolling through the CIAs so the downgrade didn't start
2. Recovery mode works but updating does nothing

You don't happen to have TubeHax DNS active on your router or the 3DS?

Okey, you have ejected your SD card right? So it isn't in the way for whatever reason when you run recovery? All cards that is, even games.

so did you get it fixed or not ?

and also are you japanese? or do you understand how to read japanese? maybe you missed something in the menu cause of the language difference?

If you read the original post, I've tried update many times already and didn't get it fixed. So no it's not fixed

And no I'm not Japanese. I use the Google translate app It lets me take a picture of Japanese then translates.

oh i thought maybe you were going by the placement of the text and comparing it to a US system

that would probably be more accurate than using google translate, because it sucks

What have we learned... 3DS are like an old car. It does what ever the hell it wants.

Btw, if you going to downgrade, use SafeSysUpdater and btw. I got a theory, you might have a the "Black Screen of Death" issue with 3DSes.

EDIT: And luckly its easy to fix. It's just a loose wire that need to be tilted/snapped back
EDIT2: OP you should update the original post to run recovery mode atleast 10 times!

oooh.... I wonder... I wonder... might his Sysupdater installed the files anyway? Just because they where zero bytes they just flew by and the software froze? And each recovery he ran one cia was restored?

yes i do , but you do realize how bad google translate is right

i thought the placement was pretty much the same across all languages

or try to find a video or something of someone doing what you are trying to do and compare, yes you can use G translate but be cautions and take with a grain of salt a lot of salt actually, it's horrible

English and Japanese are 2 different languages, the Japanese use certain symbols that say more then on word, where as in English we would have to write both words out, Japanese text placement is different to English text placement due to the way both languages are written.

Also Google Translate isn't that bad, I've used it countless times and the only time it gives a bad translation is when you screw up what you want translated.

So I used safeSysupdater and a few CIAs after NATIVE_FIRM installed I got the black screen of death... Powered off and looked like it was 9.2 but when I opened up settings it stayed at the 3ds intro screen. Tried browser. Hanged at browser screen. Tried to run menuhax. Just went to menu.

So....
Back to recovery mode I go!
Trying another update

so did you use safe system updater, and you launched it from the HBL or you auto loaded it at boot when it finally worked?

SafeSysupdater and boot.3dsx

For some reason launch.rxTools.net and go.gateway-3ds.com won't work I have rxTools.dat and Launcher.dat on my SD card
