Hacking Bricked N3DS after doing nothing.

I came up with it on my own. Was just a crazy idea but didn't work becuase some of the CIAs were corrupt.
are you sure they were corrupt, did you go back and do md5 hash chek on the files on your SD or on your HDD ?
maybe the 3ds does not like this method? this should be looked into because if it was indeed your cia files this is a genius method for more stable and easier DG and not having to worry about rebooting 100 times to get sysupdater working

I'd bet my left nut the corrupt CIAs have nothing with how you boot the app to do, but regardless, you might wanna avoid experimenting with something that is already experimental.

I know it doesn't, the idea of boot.3dsx being sysUpdater worked %100 becuase the arm 11 exploit said "SUCCESS!". And then I somehow bricked.

but this i is a great idea we need to get someone with a hardmod to test this out then
better have it done soon before 10.4 goes live, cause i'm not sure if there are any carts with 10.3 on them?

If you tried to downgrade with those files, then I'm going to laugh and say you don't deserve a new system to attempt another downgrade
I fixed them. But i dont see how it caused a brick becuase sysupdater didnt say it installed any cia as it stopped with "error getting cia info".

he deserves a new system for his genius idea of direct booting sysUpdater though this could be a major help as anyone who has tried to run sysUpdater from the HBL knows

SafeSysUpdater should detect this. I wish you had used it instead.

but ins't it still experimental and isn't it only for use with a hardmod?
thats what i got from skimming over the OP of the thread about it

As it seems with people using it, they're in luck and it seemed to save a few butts as well.

He didn't invent that idea, people were doing it quite a while ago when Sysupdater was first released...

but you need a hardmod right?
Nope! He just wanted hardmod people to test it for him in the beginning since it was a high chance of bricks. So far that I know for following the topic there has been zero hardbricks and very few softbricks that has been restored with recovery mode.

What's weird is
1. It didn't start scrolling through the CIAs so the downgrade didn't start
2. Recovery mode works but updating does nothing
