I think will be easy to soft-backup the nand before downgrading then hard-mod. backup and downgrade.
There is any method at this time?

I already know you need ARM9 Kernel access to dump the nandRAW NAND access requires ARM9 Kernel, so no, can't do it with memchunkhax2 above 9.4.0FW. You'll need a hard mod for 9.5+ FW, assuming someone releases the code for memchunkhax2+firmlaunchhax on 9.3.0FW & 9.4.0FW.
Umm, modding an app doesn't magically give you ARM9 Kernel control. You need an exploit for ARM9 to do that. memchunkhax2 only grants ARM11 Kernel access. ARM11 Kernel can let you read and write the NAND in it's mounted state, so decrypted content, but not do a byte-by-byte dump of the RAW, encrypted volume, which is required for the console to boot. RAW, per-console encrypted backups are required for having a working console once you write the flash back with a hard-mod.I already know you need ARM9 Kernel access to dump the nand
I was asking about someone with a mod of apps like EmuNAND9+memchunkhax2
A FBI Mod was made, other apps can have mods.
OK, gonna hardmod my cousin's O3DS then...Umm, modding an app doesn't magically give you ARM9 Kernel control. You need an exploit for ARM9 to do that. memchunkhax2 only grants ARM11 Kernel access. Alternatively, you could just be patient and wait for KernelTimeMachine to come out, which corrects the issues with SysUpdater and makes downgrading much more safe.OK, gonna hardmod my cousin's O3DS then...
I already have a hard-mod + lot of nand backups from 4.5 to 10.3 in my o3dsAlternatively, you could just be patient and wait for KernelTimeMachine to come out, which corrects the issues with SysUpdater and makes downgrading much more safe.
Not really, but you need a fine-tip soldering iron and a steady hand to do it optimally. If you've done it before though, you'll be fine, just use the point on the front-side of the PCB.I already have a hard-mod + lot of nand backups from 4.5 to 10.3 in my o3ds
the problem it's my cousin it's kinda crazy and wanna downgrade his own vanilla o3ds and trust me the CLK point it's a mess in a O3DS
I have it, the deal it is kinda not-so-hot and the iron solifies faster and I have to cover it with tape. Not really, but you need a fine-tip soldering iron and a steady hand to do it optimally. If you've done it before though, you'll be fine, just use the point on the front-side of the PCB.
Ah, need a hotter iron then. I use an old Weller soldering station myself. I figure I should get one of the new "10s from power to temp" irons one of these days, but a new scope will probably come first honestly lmaoI have it, the deal it is kinda not-so-hot and the iron solifies faster and I have to cover it with tape.
I hate do hard-mod to o3ds (I hard-moded 8 O3DS, 15 O3DS XL, 1 2DS and 2 N3DSXL)
I know I will be fine, I just have o3ds
