On N3DS no. 9.5 is the latest for N3DS.

I followed the guides and downloaded rxtools 3.0 (October version) for my O3ds on 6.2.0-0U (no browser) and placed the rxtools.dat, the rxtools folder (dumped the contents to the root of the card also just to be sure), firmware, and slot0x25KeyX (obtained from the #UnlockEverything zip file).

I used the MSET exploit which seemed to work on the 3.0 version (previously used the 2.6 which kept on failing). Now my problem is that rxMode doesn't seem to work. I get this error: "Failed to load NATIVE_FIRM: 4. Reboot rxTools and try again".

I guess I'm stuck and I can't follow the guide further to install emunand. I tried recreating the firmware.bin already...

When you say "Instal Emunand", does that mean you don't have emuNand to begin with? You can't create emuNand with rxTools yet. You need an outside program to create it.

Also you should be using the latest nightly of rxTools as there have been too many to list fixes and improvements.

Also you should find a way to update to 9.2 as there is no reason to be on 6.2 anymore.

I will let other members add more to my post as I don't want to give you any wrong answers.

The Builds made from November and onwards changed the file directory.
Your Firmware file should go inside rxtools/sys/ now.

When I try to make an firmware.bin using the py script, I got 3 files. Which one is the correct?
Or I need to copy the whole firm folder to this sys folder?

Wait I got confused now. :S
It's the firm folder, sorry.

As for the files, are you using a O3DS or N3DS?
If you are using a N3DS you'll need a separate firmware file that you get online, search or it in the Reinands PasteBin and rename it.
The files downloaded from the py file do not work for N3DS.

AFAIK You can't build rxTools with devkitARM 45 (the latest), so try an older version.

Im thinking of buying a 2DS and set it up with rxTools. Whats the best version of rxTools for it and is it worth the extra trouble upgrading to 9.0 and using Menuhax compared to installing MSET?

Need some help.

I was trying to install rxtools to a friends 3ds.
It's 6.2FW

After everything done.Boot rxtools nice and fast, I just update the emunand to 10.3 and can't enter emunand anymore.
After update rxtools to 3.0b8 it's boot emunand and setup the update like normal update. But when I try to enter emunand again it's just stay black after rxtools screens.

I tried with 2 diferente SONY 32GB SD CARD (15mb/s) and a original 3DS 4GB SD Card.

So after get update the rxtools can't go emunand anymore. I have my own 3DS working very well with 10.3

Sorry for bad english.

I'll try to update his 3ds to 9.0 and set up coldboot. But any idea why this happen?
