(Unfortunately this method doesn't support 7.0-8.1 JPN O3DS since NTR 2.X-3.X Ninja mode only boots on N3DS.)

well CTR can boot dat files there is also thos https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-gateway-3ds-loader-android.378234/ its offline but requires mobile.
Luckily i no longer have to use any of the gateway tools emunand9tool works perfect for anything i would really need it for.

But does CakesFW have any mode like Pasta mode for upgrading SysNAND?
Not sure, but that's only needed for native_FIRM. It's safe to update to the proper browser version for his firmware, then he can try rxtools and/or minipasta.
There's also sliderhax, but I'm not sure how low the compatibility goes. If any browserhax at all can work, that can be used to get into rxtools via HBL.
Not really. Android files are just signed .zip files. You can extract the stuff and host it on your own computer via apache or IIS or something..

i cant boot in pasta mode/dev mode with the rxtools in coldboot :/

Cold boot to the rxtools menu, but don't autoboot rxtools. Use the menu every time. As stable as the latest nightly is, it's still even more stable booting to the menu and choosing what you want to do. pasta mode is only really needed for upgrading, so why would you want to cold boot into it each time anyway?

So I am installing the newest version. I have firmware.bin and the keyslot but I get stuck a the retools with pasta overtime i boot up... Can someone help?

What @Shadow#1 said. There is no firmware.bin for the latest version. If you have .bin files in an rxtools/data folder, you should maybe delete those as well.

FBI also builds with R45 now. And I'm not sure if @Steveice10 fixed a bug or two in the process, or if the updated devkit+libctru fixed stuff, but bugs were definitely fixed
I opened an issue on github for the update. I might look into it myself tomorrow if I have time. It's about time I contributed something anyway.
