Cemu 1.1.0 is here!

As I announced earlier in this thread, the new Cemu release features an (almost) completly rewritten graphics backend. This overhaul was necessary as a lot of the old code was super hacky and in some cases it became impossible to fix bugs without introducing game-specific hacks. Furthermore, the new backend is designed in a way that allows easier integration of advanced render features used by some games (for example Geometry shaders and Tesselation).

As a side effect of the new backend, many graphical bugs are fixed but also some of the stuff that did work in 1.0.2 is now broken.

In regards to compatibility: Shovel Knight is working and playable. Other games might be affected too but further testing is needed. (Compatibility list, anyone?)
Thanks for your workl and the release. May i make a minor suggestion? Is it possible to hook a pair of keys to change the Framebuffer number? (and just maybe, an OSD indication). It would make it easier to switch and test them.

Great release, Shovel Knight is now the first Wii U game that runs great!

May I peek at the source?
inb4 "Sure, wynaut?"

Aren't they normally supposed to be layered in order all at once? This would be a convenient feature though (and I doubt it would affect this) but i'm pretty sure the framebuffers are separated for debugging purposes.

Well, what i meant is just doing what you already do with the mouse (changing framebuffers in the debug menu) a looot faster and less tedious :)

Got the Emu, got a Game, put the Key in the keys.txt, but still wont run. Says:
“This file is encrypted and requires the Wii U common key to be launched. Keys can be configured in keys.txt”
I found the Common Key, Game Title Key and put them in the Keys File, but still nothing. Do I have to Extract everything in the .wud File?????

What game are we talking about? some games load but don't actually do anything, if you're not getting the key missing error anymore then it's just the game doesn't work

ok, and are you absolutely sure you have the common key and the key for the region of the game you're playing with, there's a USA key and a EUR key, depending on which region your game is, you will need that specific key

That's better than Cemu 1.0.2! Cemu 1.0.2 only shows a blackscreen with the logo! :)
not exactly, it shows the background with the logo in the back buffer in new version, in previous it didn't (they were separated due to post process which wasn't there or was half working ), but now in new version most 3d models which were in previous version are now missing ( character models, the castle inside etc...)

You seem to use the word Post Processing a little too loosely lol

Hello, I replaced the common wii u key from the tutorial. I got an extracted version from Mario Maker and can only select the *rpx file. The game starts to crash. Where can I find the game title key?

#using the newer version of cemu (v.1.1.0)
