Maybe not that branch necessarily, but a new port nonetheless since WiiSX is based off an old branch. After seeing RetroArch 3DS and the PS1 core run as well as it does, surely, couldn't the Wii fare as well, if not better with a lot of optimizations? Or would it be feasible to port it over for the Wii U Cafe OS once the IOSU exploit is released? I recall a thread on the Libretro forums of a member trying out a compiled core for RetroArch Wii, and ran very slowly but it ran nonetheless. It was either this or MednafenPSX, I need to somehow get people interested, or something, because with either of these cores, Final Fantasy games are finally playable without having to use interpreter cores, which is a big plus.

MednafenPSX

3DS PCSX-ReARMed

I know that 3DS is ARM, Wii/Wii U are PPC, I don't know it ARM is easier to port to, but the GBA was recently shown as running perfectly for almost every game, surely, someone can take a crack at the PS1 :P

Edit: Not PCSX-ReArmed, but MedafenPSX perhaps?

*Facepalm* I'm tired -_-

I can assume that core will be the one ported to WiiU simply because it's newer. Also, I think the Wii port isn't even optimized at all. There's absolutely no other reason for the N3DS to run it that much better. Unfortunately, I can't be of any help. I'm not a programmer. :P

Right, and I got the name wrong, as it'd be PCSX-Reloaded not ReARMed, but either way still stands; the Wii needs a new optimized port :P

I was a freshman in high school when I last used WiiSX. So, probably 6 or 7 years ago? It ran just fine for me as much as I remember. It had to have been updated since then. I do remember having issues with Rayman though. But face it, what emulator didn't? ;)

Right, it's been two years since the last release, not much is known about its current state, a new port (such as the one on 3DS), shows very few to no graphical glitches and proper framebuffer effects.

Right and I'm glad someone else is picking up (a programmed named Mystro256 as he has a GitHub), I can't wait to see how this goes :P
he is actively working on a fork of his own work he keeps posting working of porting GL into GX lets see how well it will work, tbh i dont know if pcsr is the right choice for the wii port.

Well, PCSX-ReARMed wouldn't work as that's only for ARM processors, why wouldn't it work? I'd much rather count on this than emukidid coming back the other fork. What would you suggest instead? I'm curious. MednafenPSX, FPSE (which isn't that great). WiiSX is based off of PCSX-r too, albeit a very old version.

Lol works for me too but a few time ago the link Shows me as deleted ....

Cut the crap, the link works fine. Stop using Internet Explorer ;O;

Works fine on a normal PC browser, I don't think GC forever is exactly mobile friendly. If you want me to make a video of me accessing the site and source code on GitHub, I will, because it works, so please, stop telling me it doesn't, it's really starting to get annoying. Knock it off and stop accusing me that the "link doesn't work" it does, you people just have non ideal devices to view it on.

Have you tried the latest revision, @the_randomizer?
The only thing I am expecting out of this fork is to finally be able to play Castlevania Chronicles, FFVII and Resident Evil Director's Cut. :P
All the others I wanted work fine by now. :D

Nah, haven't had the chance to test it out yet, but I will for sure :P Too bad I can't report my bugs on those forums, I can always report them on GitHub :P If the links work for you, which it does, that means the link is fine on regular devices and not mobile friendly. Wait, so you tested the build too?
