Having not seen a Fast & Furious movie since the third due to how much they distanced from the original idea the 7th in the franchise was actually very pleasant to watch.
I'll admit that I watched some parts of the movies 4-6 but never in its entirety because they never caught my interest whereas this one did! Furious 7 perfectly blended cars, racing, action and romance into one which was rather very surprising as I was expecting nothing but a clunky, cheesy, corny and tacky film, not the case here. I loved almost everything they did, but that goes with the exception of Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez I just can't get used to seeing these two acting.
Tyrese Gibson's character was acting 'know it all' and as pretentious jerk in comparison to the rest. While as for Michelle Rodriguez.. I just never liked her as an actress, neither the way she acts, speaks or her appearance (even in Lost I never dug her character at all). Thank god that skinny skeleton named Gal Gadot wasn't in this movie (she still got credited for a photo they showed though).
Ah, yes, I loved the tribute they did to Paul Walker (regardless that he wasn't a very good actor he was a good husband and father).
