Are you sure that slot0x25keyx.bin and firmware.bin are in your SD card?

Ya, I didn't have firmware.bin there cause I moved it to rxtools folder and forgot about it

The installation went fine, but now I get a black-screen

So, gateway has patched anti piracy, but, can we? I want to play my friend's backup of ACHH on my O3DS... and you guys seem to be cool. Anyway, should be pretty easy to see how they did it right? yifanlu previously decrypted the update, so I'll try to use his method and come back and report what they're doing to circumvent that (if I can read it)

You COULD try this:

copy the rxTools folder to your SD card.
Copy SD:/rxTools/system/code.bin to SD:/rxTools.dat

Rename code.bin to rxTools.dat, of course. It may boot from mset, then

I just compiled AlbertoSONIC authored 17 minutes ago's version
Installation setup went fine, garbled text is now fixed, X mode boots fine, but sadly, Y mode still gives me a black-screen

I'm on 4.4.0-10U / 9.9.0-26U

Have you installed the mset ROP with the "rxinstaller.nds" of pack ?

yes and first, i move the code.bin to root of the SD and rename it to rxtools.dat, i got an error. So, i just copy to root of SD and rename it and it boot very well

It work, i have the code.bin renamed in rxtools.dat on the root of SD and the code.bin also in sytem folder

Maybe the dev's are assuming that everybody is on 9.2 with 4.x or 6.x Mset now?
Let them know to try 4.x normally

so many changes, I don't know if I could keep up...and why the change from using rxtools.dat to sd:/rxtools/code.bin?? is there a problem with the old method or benefit from changing it?

since there been lot of activity and big change I''m assuming some known bugs has been resolved?

like black screen on the manuals and black screen on 6.x while using quickboot?

In order to boot into emunand, you need to be on 9.x
If you're on 4.x, only mode X works

didn't even know there's a bug like that, but that's good to know it's been fixed



hope we can now have a stable and recommended 3.0 release, since the last stable that is still advised on the rxtools git is the 2.6 release

haven't even tested the latest nightly build and i'm still using been using 3.0b7 but I think that's pretty stable for me... aside from the problem using the 6.x downgrade mset option
