Wow, I am impressed. nice work!
time to break out the soldering iron and go used game hunting...
I should probably note that I ended up with 3 copies of The Biggest Loser, so if @gamesquest1 or @hundshamer need one, and pay for shipping, I'll be happy to mail it to them. Else, if neither of them want them, I'll open that offer up to everyone else.

im good, if i pick up a working DSi the biggest loser is only £2 here, so would probably cost more in postage from Canada but thanks for the offer :)

Then restoring an old backup should fix it.
But how you bricked it doesn't make sense...
Probably your TWLN backup is corrupt.
Nah. I fixed it. Wasn't anything wrong with the backups.

I deleted the installed Pictochat and it started working again. The backups were made before I installed Pictochat. After removing Pictochat, I reinstalled it and everything is fine now. Maybe TWLN got bricked because it wasn't aware of where Pictochat came from 0~0

Guess it's unsupported then. The only pain of Wifi R/W is setting your wireless access point to WEP while you're doing it.

Oh, and it only works on the DS/Lite.

Damn that sucks. I don't have a DS/Lite to do the wifi hack with and the Gateway launcher is not finding the DS Biggest Loser card.

When I run the biggest loser CID dumper I get this on my dumped save:
0x7F0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 5D
0x800 00 00 00 C0 31 36 36 33 44 DD 4D 43 11 FE 00 00
(changed some of the numbers for privacy)

It appears that the CID is dumped one byte early. When I run my own CID dumper it is correctly positioned at RAM address 0x2FFD7BC.
I'll post it in a little while.

Nice! What are you using to dump the CID?

Alrighty then, this new version of TB loser save dumper will print the CID to the screen, saving a considerable level of trouble.

Unfortunately, crediars flash tool doesn't work with this. I had to use my ARDSI which most people don't have. Will keep looking for an nds homebrew that works for flashing this save then we'll be golden.

Tried this save game homebrew: https://code.google.com/p/savegame-manager/

For the record, applications on TWL are all

edit, I found my DSi and it turns out I already have grtpwn(dsi haxx). If memory serves me correctly, from this exploit NAND was read only. Would it be possible to get around this and write to the NAND?
afaik any dsiware exploit has read and write access to NAND. The issue is that Team Twiizers deliberately corrupted all the keyslots (including the one for NAND crypto) during boot on all of their savegame exploits, and thus that was considered impossible to recover from.
Now we obviously have the keys, so someone could somewhat easily make a homebrew app to restore keys and do whatever you want with NAND.

Would that mean NDS rom loading? >/<

Edit: She's muted me, I know she has ;_; This is what happens when you become a fanboy 0~0

I don't think the corrupted keyslots are why retail games don't boot from sudokohax homebrew menu. I'm sure there's other hurdles you have to get around. The Cyclo iEVO apparently used Cooking Coach to gain DSi mode from slot-1 and supports running DS games from that mode. (though compatibility might be hit or miss last I read on it)

So it's just a matter of sandboxing the games while in DSi mode. That and redirecting game saves to SD card. (which can only be done with DSi hax that has SD card access. iEVO just used it's slot-1 card for that)

Don't expect Wulfy to do that. You'll have to look elsewhere. I honestly don't think anyone will bother trying that though.

Makes sense. Yeah, I know no one would be willing to do that as flashcards are so cheap :P
