Added to the wishlist. Also please specify the one that you had me add before.I still want an option to disable the bios without having to remove the files, this way we can get a custom setting to disable them for each game individually, I mostly wanna use it for N64 and GBA injects!
In before, Home menu and MC B support
I kinda added this already to my mod...I still want an option to disable the bios without having to remove the files, this way we can get a custom setting to disable them for each game individually, I mostly wanna use it for N64 and GBA injects!

I don't really remember which ones I asked for, though I think I maybe the one who asked for better framerate for specific games, at least I did mention it once here after it was mentioned a while back, but from your list I support Home menu, option to remove the bios, slot B for EmuMC, and Xbox 360 controller support.Added to the wishlist. Also please specify the one that you had me add before.
I kinda added this already to my mod...
Basically make sure your injects gameID starts with a "D4" or "RELS"
I renamed all my injects to D41J01, D42J01.... etc and the bios won't show when they are loaded
The only thing you should do thereafter is rename the covers and banners accordingly in case you have those on board
OFFICIAL what!!?No offense but I rather stick with the official one, this way I can stay up to date easily and if I come across an issue I can report it here, plus I already renamed the games with Hex and I don't wanna go through them again, but thank you for the offer.
official nintendont of course, for bugs and stuff that is much more manageable for me anyways.OFFICIAL what!!?
Sorry I meant the official Nintendont not the Master Mod one, it's easier to update and if I come accross a bug I can report here without worrying I'd get flamed for reporting a bug that isn't in the official version, that's not to say your mod is bad though.OFFICIAL what!!?
these are injects, there's noting official here, everything is custom made and there's nothing in the title database about them
it takes 1 min to hex the isos and rename the covers but it's up to you anyways
Yeah, I meant which parts of which games need a better frame rate?I don't really remember which ones I asked for, though I think I maybe the one who asked for better framerate for specific games, at least I did mention it once here after it was mentioned a while back, but from your list I support Home menu, option to remove the bios, slot B for EmuMC, and Xbox 360 controller support.
Hi Susum, yes I am having the same issue, I believe it is possible for Nintendont to overcome this with an update, however, although it has been mentioned, this issue has never really been addressed or explained properly (from my searches anyway). Here is a detailed description as to what is happening and my findings:
To re-create the issue:
nintendont v3.358
original wii
loading wii original retail discs
1. pal wii (not wii u)
2. connect PAL wii via scart cable
3. in wii settings, tv type = 50Hz (576i)
4. metroid prime ntsc retail disc
5. load nintendont through homebrew channel
6. force pal60
7. launch game from disc
8. black screen, does not function!
OR if force ntsc the game will load but you get red screen tint!
This exact same setup works fine for super mario sunshine NTSC on PAL wii, it runs like a dream. The only differences I can think of between metroid prime NTSC and supermario sunchsine NTSC is that prime has the progressive scan compatible feature while mario sunshine does not.
changing the wii settings, tv type = 60Hz (480i) makes no difference.
Before anyone suggests the hardware, or an alternative TV connection to RGB, let me mention that running metroid prime NTSC on a PAL wii works fantastically in pal60 mode in full colour with no black screen or red tint whatsoever, if launched from gecko OS 1.9.3.1 by brkirch.
Therefore gecko OS is achieving something that nintendont isn't, and therefore this error can't be blamed on a hardware setup!
Thank you
That's already reported but anyhow that's the expected behaviour: NTSC video signal and RGB don't like one another, there's an incompatibility where any NTSC video signal is displayed in red if using a RGB cable. I guess this means that Nintendont's menu is always using NTSC signal, hence we get the red tint on it.Hi, guys. I'm using RGB-scart cable to coonect my Wii to TV and when i'm using nintendon't i get this completly red screen:
Also why are you forcing videomodes on the ntsc game?
most ntsc like 90% of them cant be forced into pal videomodes or they Blackscreen, most pal 60hz option games can be forced ntsc and even those that arent some of them can so from all my testings i would say you have a much higher chance to get a pal game running on forced ntsc than an ntsc game on forced pal modes.
nintendont is nintendont , Gecko os is gecko os, DM is DM,Devolution is Devolution they all handle videomodes diferently, its a known issue also its normal most games dont work when forcing diferent videomodes, also the tv does make a diference.
what he wants isnt a fix for the red ink but a fix to run metroid prime ntsc in forced pal 60/50Yeah, a fix for the red tint problem has been in the wishlist for a while now.
so you dont have a new tv on another part of the house? preety much any tv nowadays supports ntsc signals without any troubles no need to force videomodes to see them tough, becuase its such a specific fix i dont know if fix94 will even want to try and fix metroid prime ntsc firced video to pal mode lol, why dont you simply get a pal iso? much simpler and problem solved.Simply because pedro702, if you set Nintendont to auto mode and you run Mario Sunshine, Windwaker, Night fire, Twin Snake, all NTSC (for example) on a PAL Wii with RGB scart, you will get a red screen. Forcing PAL 60 in Nintendont ensures it runs correctly under this setup.
Sorry, I disagree. My NTSC collection of gamcube games all work flawlessly on my PAL Wii via RGB scart cable, when loaded under the Gecko OS.
To be fair to Nintendont, after testing a few more NTSC games on PAL Wii, via RGB scart, they do work under force pal60 (you cannot rely on auto!). The only exception thus far is Metroid Prime which will produce a black screen (I am sure other games fall into this category as well, and will not work, e.g. others in the prime series).
However Gecko OS can handle Metrod prime NTSC on PAL just fine.
My theory on it being progressive scan ntsc games producing the black screen under pal60 is incorrect because wind waker is progressive scan and it works.
The fact is Gecko OS can run 100% of my NTSC games on PAL Wii with RGB Scart lead and it’s years old. I simply ask why Nintendont cannot be modified to achieve the same thing? They are both loaders on the same architecture! That is, if indeed it really is a video issue, and if it's not, then I would have been unfair to Nintendont, after all , I only have Metroid Prime as an example thus far.
Well what about Susum and cashonly? They didn't mention Metroid Prime at all.what he wants isnt a fix for the red ink but a fix to run metroid prime ntsc in forced pal 60/50.
