Hacking installing roms bigger than the rom in the wad possible?

hi, i want to know if i can inject say a 1.5mb snes rom into a wad that only has a 1mb rom,(like zelda LTTP) im sure there was a program that allowed this, anyone know?

There is a program that allows it, but it doesn't work with SNES VC games. (I think)

auto injectuwad works fine, even if the rom in the wad is smaller then the one you want to inject it will still work.

i guess i always had a wad big enough. there is a packer that has no size limit, its the one that supports neo-geo.

You are not using the correct injector program... Try with "new vc injector" By Devilken (neogeo as well) "Any size" allowed. (till 50Mb)

I need some help. So I want to play Mario Party 3 as a wad but whenever I try to inject it in The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask.wad it gives me this error. ERROR: Rom file too large to inject to the selected entry, exiting!!

Even though the rom is 32mb and the wad is 46mb it still gives me this error.

I don't know if you can inject it into a different wad source, the list only gives report with sin & punishment wad.


It's not the wad that you need to check it's size, but the ROM inside it.
I doubt the ROM inside is 46mb, as it's not a round size. (unless it's trimmed)

Trying to inject Mario Party 1 & 3, ROMs are definitely smaller than the target wad but its still coming up ROM too big.

Can't use Donkey Kong 64 as a base coz Wii U only
