Deleting posts you consider bad is fine, but can we get notified about it? If I legitimately think that one of my deleted posts were fine, I will keep posting the same way.
But shitposting is fun, you of all people should know this.How about "not shitposting" so that your posts and threads don't have to be deleted, hmm? The moderating team does its best to keep the forums nice and tidy, they may not always have the time to explain exactly what silly thing you did today, but you can always contact them later. Not that I'm trying to be mean, I don't like "shadow edits" myself, but there's usually an obvious reason why something was deleted. I am all for notifying users - let's notify them with Warnings, since that's what the system's there for.
totally agreed. i haven't had any issues with this on gbatemp but have had the same issue on other forums. if i post something and come back 10 mins later and see the page just like i left it minus my post i assume its because i forgot to click post. I never shitpost, I only post inconvenient truth. ;O;But shitposting is fun, you of all people should know this.

You turn a shitpost into a slightly related OT post, main content is still a shitpost ;o;
That only sends anything if you type a message in the box next to it, thoughyeah, there is a notification when we delete posts (unless we untick the box... it's ticked by default)
not checked by default? oh yeah, I was thinking of when we move threads.That only sends anything if you type a message in the box next to it, though
Edit: Actually it does. It's not currently checked by default, though.

You can't delete your own posts, you have to use the report button and ask us to delete or move them.Speaking of deleting post. Do we not have the option to delete our own post(s)? Say we accidentally post in the wrong thread or make a post with irrelevant information. Can we not do this? I looked for the delete post option while trying to edit a post but didn't see it. Thanks!
Sure? Randomizer seems to do it all the timeYou can't delete your own posts, you have to use the report button and ask us to delete or move them.
