Homebrew Homebrew r4iGold on new Nintendo 3DS

So, I recently purchased a New Nintendo 3DS along with OMEGA Ruby and also purchased a 3DS Flash cart to play some back ups of a variety of titles. The flash cart that I purchased is the R4I Gold and I loaded it up with the latest Wood Firmware.

So if I have my r4igold which I'm using with my n3ds. Will any Homebrew Emulators work on my r4igold and new 3ds?

only the ones for DS. (.nds files)
if you got a card that supports wood. its a DS flashcart, not a 3ds flashcart. and therefore runs in DS mode which lets you play DS games and DS homebrew.

if you have the r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition (which i doubt, since its 2 cards and you didnt mentioned the other card) that is another talk.
