Hacking How do I get my save file off of my Pokemon X cartridge with Gateway?

So I have a Pokemon X cart and Gateway.

How do I get my darn save file off of this cart? The browser method won't work for me because i'm on a New 3DSXL

It says the save file is corrupted :/

Should I try another dump? I did rename the filetype to 3DZ

Also I want access to the save file. When I tried getting to it through savedatafiller it said the cart was broken (and I did load it up on Gateway before going into savedatafiller)

I found that, but that requires me to buy a powersave device which I don't want to do. I want to be able to get the save file without having to buy anything.

If you've been playing this game in classic mode on a 4.5 sysNAND, I'm afraid you'll have a hard time getting the save file.
I have the same problem with smash (Though I don't own a gateway). Your best bet is using the SD card trasfer tool to transfer it to a legit CIA while *in classic mode* (rxMode won't work). So, you'll need to wait for a gateway update, since the transfer tool requires the latest FW.

I don't have any experience with sharing saves between 6.0+ consoles (are you sure the 6.0+ thing was sysNAND, not emuNAND?), even less with gateway mode, but AFAIK, gateway mode shouldn't modify the save encryption keys, so it should work.
If you have Cubic Ninja, or a Sky3DS, you could try NTR CFW with it's save extraction plugin.

Powersaves... or r4i Dongle. Wait, does that thing still work? Meh, get a Powersaves. It does more than an r4i Dongle.

Quicker than waiting for a Gateway...

I really hate this. It's hard for Sky3DS users as is. But then to have Gateway drag their feet like this really cooks my goose.

The process is a bit wrapping, but really Powersaves has made the process for me really easy.

Took me a few hours to do, with the partial decryption method. In the end it pays off. Considering the 1.3 update doesn't work through classic mode and 9.6 emuNAND doesn't work on N3DS.

There is 3 ways :
- Decrypt the save with a powersave
- Use the ntr cfw, but it recquires cubic ninja
- Transfer the save to the legit cia with the save data transfer tool, but for that you must have downloaded the tool from eshop before the 9.6 update, it's not possible anymore now, unless you have an old gateway compatible 3ds.
