Gateway should update their page saying that it "plays new 3ds games!" just too screw with the sky team.

Yea but then sky3ds would reply back with "works on all firmwares"

Id get a gateway but im on 9.5 so it would be pointless of me.

Nah, I'm chilling with my gateway The thought about all those Sky trolls being sexed in the but again by Sky makes me think Karma is really a bitch. But all in all sad news for Sky users, I hope this gets sorted ASAP.

its not bad at all

you can use sky to get cubic ninja or oot to have gw working
each game now cost 40-50$, so half of sky3ds is refunded,its bad if you are on 9.2+

That's the only thing I bought my Sky card for, but I managed to get a OOT for free so it just sits around waiting to get sold

well, a 'proper' cia should ideally come from eshop.
in this case, until we crack the new3ds rom encryption(if it really is a big problem) -- there is only one way to get a nice cia.

get an exploitable n3ds. use private tool (maybe public now, i think decrypt9 is ok), to get nand xorpads.
have a hard mod. update to 9.6. buy the game.
dump the nand via hard mod, xor it, get your ticket.db, and use FunkyCIA
after that you can restore your nand backup of 9.2 or whatever

I'm sorry I say proper but I would rather just use gateway mode but an eshop dump would bypass that issue I suppose

I heard you need to hold up on the d-pad when you boot gateway mode before you try to update emunand with a rom
