FIX94, would it difficult adding a method to hide a Wii U formatted device from nintendont? The way to load nintendont even when a Wii U device is plugged?
unplug its usb cable. Fixed.
Oh thanks, but I was looking to actual solution, like having both drives without unplug neither of them.
I know it's not possible now.it isn't possible.
Well as long as it works fine I'm okay, I haven't got the chance to test it yet btw, and thanks for supporting testing and reporting games that have less priority for the sake of compatibility, it means a lot to me and helps my confidence morefixed its a loose term for that i mean games have a higher chance of starting with sound and the disc speed change seemed to make the bad audio more well rare, but a good test is always welcome on every game.
The proto has some exceptions such as the beta version of Sonic Spinball which has a different soundtrack (back in the days, before the game's final release, they had licensing issues with the music so they changed the music at the last minute, ironically the proto version of Sonic Mega Collection accidentally used that instead of the final, it's a stupid story anyway), it also has an option for Sonic CD (which didn't make it to the final) along with the manual, and two options for (Sonic the Hedgehog The Movie) referring to the Sonic OVA, it's pointless stuff but I like to keep the proto version for these neat extras. Why proto/demo/beta versions? most of time they share a gameid which is common for demo versions, so any won't be fixed if one is added on a list of whatever exeption.
You know, I'm with this, would help a lot to reduce chances of accidentally formatting the hard drive.FIX94, would it difficult adding a method to hide a Wii U formatted device from nintendont? The way to load nintendont even when a Wii U device is plugged?
let the xml be he updates to whatever revision you are using by itself after you start it with a new dol, never touch it.
So it frooze what do you mean? no disc error? a freeze with a beep? a freeze you could exit with the exit combo? i did 4 missions in a row on 307 so far with no issues are you forcing any settings or shrunken iso?
and you made sure you were on 307 with that try? becuase if you did an update inside nintendont and didnt restart you were still using the older versionhuntil you restart after in app updater, i did literaly 6 missions in a row now and didnt got a single disc error on 307. 305 was the one that changed the disc read thing so 305 should be a safe one for the return for you.sorry, it was late and had a drink.
it gave the same error to power off and the end of the mission. at the summary screen after I pressed B. seemed fine until the press of B though. only one play still.
think it's a legit ISO but need to check redump specs
and all generic nintendont settings
still asked if I wanted progressive without anything checked
will test again later and rev 305 as well.
for sanity what version should I go back and test to see if it worked way back. I think I was on 293/4/6? before the 306 update?
I just saw there was an update, so I'll test that first then if it still locks up, I'll regression test the other versions.
Thanks for your work on this tool. Can be very therapeutic ;P

well 306 was the one that introduced the bug that was causing the issue all my testing was on 307 that fixed the bug and we are actualy on 308 now.nope was on 306 last night. not sure when 307 came out, just saw it reading on here so still need to try that.
I'm pretty familiar with nintendont at this point, just still diggin into the games. plus I never played rogue squadron 3 back in the day so it's pretty cool. like I'm picking up where I left off. these star wars games still stand the test of time. jaw-dropping graphics at some scenes still. for me anyways.
No, I'm not talking about UStealth, it has already implemented in nintendont, but the option to boot nintendont with your FAT32 HDD and Wii U device plugged at same time. Currently if you have a Wii U device nintendont will throw an error, as it doesn't recognize the Wii U device has a correct FAT32 partition. Exchanging ports doesn't help because it brake other apps. You know, I'm with this, would help a lot to reduce chances of accidentally formatting the hard drive.
its not just a problem with that game, every game using the HAL hps audio player including melee have these audio problems for unknown reasons. Even dolphin has those problems.
so yea here we go:
-added a small disc read delay which should make sure that the read speed is somewhat equal to the original disc drive, this should fix some weird game issues such as suddenly stopping music in kururin squash
-added the japanese wind waker demo to the __gxsetvat list
-added sonic mega collection and moved sonic gems collection arstartdma exception
Oh and it doesnt help sonic riders, why are all sonic games for gc so terribly coded? Seriously every single one of them has big issues, its terrible.

I just finished testing, Sonic The Fighters still crashes at the SEGA screen, I even tried to delete my save and it still happens, using a clean 1:1 rip with r308so yea here we go:

Oh alright, my bad, my Wii U is still genuine, I only use my Wii for Nintendont for now, glad to know at least that issue was fixed. No, I'm not talking about UStealth, it has already implemented in nintendont, but the option to boot nintendont with your FAT32 HDD and Wii U device plugged at same time. glad to hear sonic mega collection got fixed finaly i played it abit and it seemed fine for me, and dont worry sonic fighters will be fixed next rev xDI just finished testing, Sonic The Fighters still crashes at the SEGA screen, I even tried to delete my save and it still happens, using a clean 1:1 rip with r308
However, Sonic R and Sonic CD seem to work fine.
On more positive news, Sonic Mega Collection seem to work fine now, tried the US and Jap version of the game, as well as the proto version, the audio delay and noises are gone as well as games starting without audio
btw, FIX94 do you think you can add Megaman Anniversary Collection to the arstartdma exception list? I wonder if it can help improve the audio delay in the review video and the music resetting issues in games like MM7, just for testing as of now.

btw pedro702 do you remember which was the last revision before the major USB codes changes? I wanna make a back up for in case Sonic Gems Collection didn't get a fix soon in case I wanted to play it again.
Could you make a bit in the selection menu to force a bios menu launch without a disc in?, that way you could modify or delete gamecube saves from it.its just a very tiny delay, its pretty much unnoticable and only gets active if the usb hdd reads too quickly.
where do i report problems with gbatemp. most of the time the only thread i can access is this one. the wiiflow thread i cant seem to access at all and most of the other threads. gbatemp is slow to load overall and just keeps spinning and spinning like its trying to load something. is it really that overwelmed by all the nintendont viewers?
