a little confused i have skimmed everything,I don't want to pirate any games cause i have over 400 dollars worth of just downloaded games but i would like to have emulator via injecting or homebrew so here's my questions
1.do you still need a flashcard?
2.if i have the latest firmware(which I do)if i need a cart what one do i get(remember i don't care about ds or 3ds roms)
sorry about the newbie question and there is sooo much info here
i have some idea of modding I have modded wii, xbox, psp and even one of the vita's releases which lasted a whole week before i had to update to buy more games :( thanks guys

If u dont care abt games for what purpose you want a flashcard?
You spend 400 dollars for games. I think you need a big Sd card in ur 3ds.

You spend over 400 dollars on games but you want emulation??? Why do you then have modded Wii, Xbox 360 and a PSP, what, just for emulation purposes? I think someone is telling porkies! :P be honest m8ty, no one is going to slate you for it!!! ;)

Are you implying that running roms on a 3DS from a platform that is 24 years old is piracy? Puuuleeeeese.

I know that the copywrite of nintendo games is valid for 75 years, but let's be honest here, Nintendo and it's "virtual console" is a money grab, nothing more.

Charging modern day money value for games from the gameboy is rediculous. That shit should be public domain by now

so your trying to say that cause its modern it is a better game? cause its old.. some of the best games are old. some of the best modern games are based on old games.

end of the day its still Nintendo copyrighted game. so they can charge how much they want.

but at the same time you want it be public domain so you can get it for free.

Yes, DSTwo is the best way to have full speed emulators (some SNES are not full speed but you can play)...
On 3DS, there is only one emu : Blarg.
And... I can't say it is complete LOL and therefore you need a 3DS with firmware between 4.1/4.5 to use a 3DS flashcard to run it.

So, for today : DSTwo. That's all.

But yes games that are even 25 years old, if you do not own the original and you download it and play it on an emulator it is PIRACY. Age doesn't matter on this issue people just pretend like it does. Unless it becomes public domain it's piracy.

It's 70 after author's death for music, don't know the duration for games.
And sometimes it is license : a new title of the license is a renewal of even the old titles, isn't it ?
