I guess your knowledge is way too less. Ever tried to search something?
What's with the attitude? Was I being mean to you? No, but I can start right now. Speaking of knowledge, your English seems "way to less", so before you start stirring stuff up, try reading something and get your grammar right. How does this out of the blue hostility feel to you, Mr. Nice Guy?
PSP sold 80 millions worldwide , which is more than 50% of Nintendo DS.
I can count, and I'm not interested in random videos made by people who have access to the exact same information as I do. They have absolutely no authority.
And after 2 years of PSP's release , it was still more than 50% of DS's sales.
50% doesn't sound so bad, but 50% of 2 is 1, and 50% of DS sales is ~80 million. Having twice as many customers is an insanely huge difference, especially when you consider market saturation and number of PSP owners.
If you are satisified , that doesn't mean , every fanboy is satisified.
I'm not satisfied with where Vita is right now, but what you want for it doesn't necessarily reflect what the majority of potential customers would want. What makes any gaming platform good? Games. Which is exactly what Vita isn't getting, and because of its market share, it's not going to get it. It's doing too poorly to motivate any major developer to waste their money on games for it.
P.S. - That video you linked is only some guy's idea of why the Vita failed. The cost of games is pretty much what you're willing to spend as a developer. I'm aware there is a bottom budget line to this, but not every Vita game needs to look as good as Uncharted does. This applies to original games, but think of ports. With Vita being as powerful as it is, ports should be easier to handle, and by extension of this logic, cost less than say, 3DS ports. The cost argument is almost completely invalid if you look at things in this way. Did Patapon and Loco Roco for PSP cost millions upon millions? I'm pretty sure they didn't. New games don't need to cost millions to be great. They just need to be good, and they need to get a release.
