Gaming Games that can "Save" Vita!!

Unlike PSP , Vita's original games are crap.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss? Soul Sacrifice/Delta? WipeOut 2048? KillZone: Mercenary? LittleBigPlanet PSVita? Lumines: Electronic Symphony? Touch My Katamari? Gravity Rush? Sounds like you're not very familiar with the PSVita's library.

I think there should be remasters of PSP games, including Fat Princess, Resistance Retribution, and Gran Turismo.
Fat Princess- number of AI should scale depending on how many humans are playing. (aleays have the max amount of AI possible, but AI should obviously disppear to make room for next person joining) Warrior class should be nerfed. Host options to tweak character class power levels masnually is probably a good idea.
Resistance Retribution- 60fps, Vita controls, no PSP players means no hacking
Gran Turismo- single player should be more structured, better soundtrack, the ability to disable songs you don't like, an endless race mode (i.e. you get money each lap based on your position), the ability to get money from time trial, etc, etc, etc.

all games scaled to vita res, 60 fps, trophy support

another idea is to port Logans Shadow to Vita, this time without all the glitches. I would change 2 other things as well, make bonus missions unlocked, and when you beat the game on normal you get a secret file mode that has waypoints to all the secret files in the game. I would maybe also nerf the final boss on hard mode because it is just stupid.

Resistance should be curated to see of the aiming boxes are still needed with Vita controls. I would probably just make the aiming boxes slightly smaller, instead of removing them altogether.

Another idea I had with Resistance was, if i remember correctly, to be able to throw grenades without having to switch weapon. There could be a grenade button or the touchscreen could be used.

All you have to do to throw a grenade in Resistance: Burning Skies is touching the grenade button, you don't have to switch weapons at all.

I guess your knowledge is way too less. Ever tried to search something?

What's with the attitude? Was I being mean to you? No, but I can start right now. Speaking of knowledge, your English seems "way to less", so before you start stirring stuff up, try reading something and get your grammar right. How does this out of the blue hostility feel to you, Mr. Nice Guy?

PSP sold 80 millions worldwide , which is more than 50% of Nintendo DS.

I can count, and I'm not interested in random videos made by people who have access to the exact same information as I do. They have absolutely no authority.

And after 2 years of PSP's release , it was still more than 50% of DS's sales.

50% doesn't sound so bad, but 50% of 2 is 1, and 50% of DS sales is ~80 million. Having twice as many customers is an insanely huge difference, especially when you consider market saturation and number of PSP owners.

If you are satisified , that doesn't mean , every fanboy is satisified.

I'm not satisfied with where Vita is right now, but what you want for it doesn't necessarily reflect what the majority of potential customers would want. What makes any gaming platform good? Games. Which is exactly what Vita isn't getting, and because of its market share, it's not going to get it. It's doing too poorly to motivate any major developer to waste their money on games for it.

P.S. - That video you linked is only some guy's idea of why the Vita failed. The cost of games is pretty much what you're willing to spend as a developer. I'm aware there is a bottom budget line to this, but not every Vita game needs to look as good as Uncharted does. This applies to original games, but think of ports. With Vita being as powerful as it is, ports should be easier to handle, and by extension of this logic, cost less than say, 3DS ports. The cost argument is almost completely invalid if you look at things in this way. Did Patapon and Loco Roco for PSP cost millions upon millions? I'm pretty sure they didn't. New games don't need to cost millions to be great. They just need to be good, and they need to get a release.

You know what would be amazing on the Vita ? Another Loco Roco game, with the gyroscope and the touch pad, there's some new gameplay elements that could be added.

i kinda feel bad for the vita

i know it can be a good handheld but it lacks alot of games

sure it has persona 4 golden but thats not gonna give the vita sale same for gravity rush

it is however a good system to play ps1 and psp games on so it has that i guess

i mean id love to see a loco roco or something on the vita

There's nothing inheritently wrong with the PSVita as a system - it's a great console with very little flaws, be it spec-wise or physically. The "problem" was the initially high price point and the bad press which linger over the system still. Perhaps the situation will improve over time - right now there's approx. 8.8 million PSVita's out there, so hey! It could've been worse.

As for the PSP, it sold more units than the Game Boy Advance, so arguing that it wasn't successful when it was Sony's first fully fledged portable is crazy talk. Just because the DS sold insanely well (perhaps due to all the revisions, perhaps it was a syndrome similar to that of the PS2) doesn't mean that the PSP didn't - it sold less, but it was still very successful overall.

i think the issue with the vita is it lacks AAA games

not saying that niche games are bad (i love me some niche gaming every now and then) but its not gonna sell the system we need some really popular AAA titles on there that will really show what the vita is capable of

I was never affected by AAA shortage on the system, I still have a sizable backlog of games that I have to buy for it. In fact, I easily played more PSVita games than 3DS games. Not that I wouldn't want the likes of Tekken, Resident Evil or other big name franchises to enter the system's library - I'd love that.

Vita is even less than 10% of 3DS.
And you think I am the only one thinking this way? I highly recommend you to open Google (if you know what it is) and type "PS Vita Failure" , you will know how much this thing is going on.
If you are satisified , that doesn't mean , every fanboy is satisified.
You must watch this video , it is 100% reasonable , and you'll know why :

Have a nice day with Vita.

Exactly. That's mostly the games people look for in a gaming system.

Nintendo = Mario, Smash, Zelda, Sonic
PlayStation = Uncharted, Gran Turismo, Killzone, God of War
Xbox = Halo, Forza, Gears of War, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising

Now for the Vita you're stuck to JRPGs, Indies and a few normal games. Vita has great hardware for a portable console but lacking in variety games.

So much comments , yay!!
Btw I didn't make up all the satisfaction , you have to accept the fact that Vita is a failure!
And if you read my Thread with open eyes , you will read that I clearly mention , I'm not gonna start any flame fight -_-
And I wrote this thread not just to show you my hatred lol I wrote it to let you know the games "I" think can save the vita.
Anyways , who cares.
