I think I will be looking in mk7 custom tracks aswell, just as I did with mkds, for when repacking roms becomes possible.
(The program can then be used for mkds and mk7 hacking)
How hard do you think it would be to port tracks in MKWii format to the MK7 format?
Also, judging by what CollosalPokemon said, it shouldn't be hard to created a repacker-encrypter (by those who know how to program, of course).

fwiw I don't intend to release the tools since my sources aren't very well made. Most of it was just lazily thrown together this weekend. If I release anything, I'd like to make a clean source to distribute. I just wanted to report that recompiling games works if you do it right, since Relys asked. As for recompiling the RomFS, try looking at the source code of ctrtool (neimod) to see how the RomFS is structured or makerom (3DSGuy) which has an incomplete recompiler.
