Are they tech-takers?

Because there's really no point getting them something techy if they're not going to be interested.
If they're not particularly techy, then why not step outside your comfort zone and think hard about what they enjoy rather than something you like to spend money on.

Are they close and are the dates close together? $200 could probably buy a pretty awesome day out - go karting, theatre, tickets to see a band etc... Or treat them to a plush meal out somewhere?


By the way - I'd go for ducks over run-of-the-mill birds, when it comes to towles.

She only plays outdated mmo's and facebook games. She won't play anything with a learning curve greater than pacman. She paid $10 for Castle of Illusion, and quit after the 2nd level because level 2 introduced pits. And if you try and show her how to play a game, she looks away, walks away, and says she's never playing it again. She is one of the shittiest, most stubborn people I've known and half of me wants to drive a steak through her, but I feel like an asshole for not giving er anything so i have to buy something out of guilt
