Only one GBA model is a tiny cute square.Which GBA do you have if its the fat GBA i'll buy it
There are a few units still being produced (unless they stopped doing that recently), but they're in short supply because they're using old stock of parts no longer being produced. If you can find the EZ4, buy it. There's nothing better still even somewhat easy to find these days, and even the EZ4 is no longer in production. What you can find is all there is.

I was looking for cheap over quality as like my PSP, I intend to rarely, or never play it. I was paying for the option to play it because I never know when I might want to crack open a new save file of Golden Sun or Metroid. There are a few units still being produced (unless they stopped doing that recently), but they're in short supply because they're using old stock of parts no longer being produced.
That said the EZ4 was great even in its time, there were a couple better carts but it was one of the best out of the ones with SD card support. Certainly not a bad choice even if other carts were still available.
Eh... I've owned 2 GBAs and they're great and all, but I have hardware that does a damn good job substituting the experience. I only got the system because its a cute, tiny little square and it was $30 in excellent condition. And it was Miku green. :3
The seller said 101, but the sticker on the back says 001.AGS-001 or AGS-101 ?

Having never owned a 101 before, I don't remember the screen being this bright, like a NDS, I don't remember the system being this light. The screen has no scratches, theres no dust build up. The buttons don't look worn, the slidders and hinge are firm, theres very little scratching on the outside, there are two brightness settings and no off setting. Even the sticker in the back shows no wear.
Theres an ebay shop online that sells "professionally refurbished" GBA models with swappable parts replaced, like screens, casings, buttons, and hinges so I'm guessing the seller that originally owned this unit may have bought one of the refurbished models from that store. It irks me it says 001 on the back but I think its a 101.
And how is Supercard? I can find it for $25. What would I get with the EZ4 for an extra $30?
I'm not going for quality here, like I said, I don't even expect to play the thing for a long time.Supercard is...
It's okay ish..
I'd vouch for the EZ4.
I got both as well as the M3 SD and CF, and the EZ4 wins hands down.
What do you mean "mini sd is equally is size to the ez4"EZ has better compatibility.
Supercard SD is bigger and Mini SD is equally is size to the EZ4.
The Supercards have a more simplistic GUI then the EZ.
I'd say EZ4 still.
But if you can snag the Supercard for cheaper, go for it.
