It is and it's not. Goodsmile has pre-order windows, and once those windows close, you often can't use Goodsmile's site to buy one. Its advertising in the sense it's bringing attention to an awesome Link Nendoroid, but it's not advertising because you can't use that home site to buy him anymore. You'll need to find or use a 3rd party vendor. Why do I feel like this might be advertising...
Actually pretty cheap because once popular nendoids ship out, they'll jump atleast $20 more in a month's time, and go from there to $90 or more because often, Goodsmile won't make/sell any more post-release.I wasn't expecting much, but that's actually a pretty neat figure.
AND expensive. Holy crap.
People who "invest" in anime figures buy them to enjoy decoration, not resell themAlso, nendos are (usually) terrible investments, considering their prices drop like crazy once it's opened.
And I agree. I personally collect them so I can pose them on my shelves.People who "invest" in anime figures buy them to enjoy decoration, not resell them
Besides, that's a pretty shitty investment system
If you think nendos are expensive, just try taking up scale figures collecting.

And most of the price increase comes from markups from going down the chain of resellers rather than an actual increase in value.
